• A third of UK workers are either subject to Statutory Sick Pay or are not eligible for any sick pay.
• The current sick pay system leaves families unable to make ends meet, especially during the cost of living crisis. 
• That is why we want to see a sick pay system where everyone is eligible for sick pay, from the first day that they are sick, at a rate that means they can take time off to get better and still provide for their families.

Safe Sick Pay

Our Safe Sick Pay Campaign is bringing together charities, civil society organisations and trade unions that want to see a change to Statutory Sick Pay legislation. We are calling on the government to extend sick pay to all workers, to make sick pay available from the first day that someone is off sick, and to bring sick pay in line with the living wage.
