Community Organiser

The Centre for Progressive Change is looking for a full-time Community Organiser to work on our national sick pay campaign in key constituency seats around the UK. This role will primarily organise alliances in key seats to influence local Tory MPs to support legislative changes to Statutory Sick Pay (SSP) legislation.
The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to organise a broad-range of constituents, to build effective working relationships with MPs cross-party and to take effective action to pressure decision-makers to support a particular change. They will be committed to working across the UK in numerous constituencies and able to organise multiple sites simultaneously. This position is an excellent opportunity to organise constituents on the ground across the UK and engage Conservative MPs to help bring about legislative change.
Responsible to: Director
Location: Constituencies across England
Salary: £32,500 - £35,659 (negotiable)
Contract type: The role is for a fixed term contract for 12 months, with extension subject to further funding
Hours: Full-time
